SAE Flanges are mainly used for bigger sizes of tubes in NB (Nominal Bore) sizes. Hydraulic Flanges are used in bigger sizes of Piping joints Where Nut & ferrule assembly is not possible due to higher in Hex section sizes & High torgue require to tightened / Grip the ferrule in to the tube & lead to lose the joints at High pressure application. In such cases the usage of Flanges with Butt weld or Socket weld has been found to be more practical leading to compact piping installation. SAE Flanges manufacture an array of SAE flanges and Hydraulic flanges which corresponds to relevant international standards.
SAE Flanges find application in industries where flanged joints are encountered during the tasks of fabrication & maintenance.
Hydraulic Flanges
Hydraulic Flanges are connection between hoses or seamless tubes where easy removal is required with in close quarters in the piping systems.
Hydraulic Flanges are mainly used for bigger sizes of tubes in NB (NominalBore) sizes.
Hydraulic Flanges joints can be so done to minimize the distance between pipes and provide for a compact installation.
Hydraulic flanges are in various types such as Split, Mono, captive, Butt weld, Socket weld, stub end type.
Hydraulic Flanges are available in various materials like carbon steel, stainless steel 304 & 316 grades.
Cetop Flanges
CETOP Flanges are butt weld ends which are square type & designed as per ISO 6164 standards worldwide.
CETOP Flanges are used for 250 bar and 400 bar static working Pressure respectively which correspond to 160 bar and 315 Bar dynamic Working Pressures.
CETOP Flanges used as ISO 6164 Flanges has one disadvantage, the size of the Square Flange require a higher pitch between pipes due to the Flange Sizes.
In order to reduce the distance between pipes, SAE introduced their own Standards which are now incorporated in to ISO 6162 for the 3000 psi and 6000 psi static Pressure ranges respectively. SAE system depends on the same set of butt welding sleeves held together by a set of Split Flange and Solid Flange secured by Hex Bolts and Nut.
CETOP Flanges are available in 3000 & 6000 Psi Series.
CETOP Flanges are available in Steel & Stainless Steel materials
CETOP Flanges are available in sizes up to 5 " NB to weld pipe.
Mono Flanges
Mono Flanges are designed as per ISO 6162 - 3000 psi series & 6000 Psi Series only.
Mono Flanges are used for Hose assembly where easy removal piping can be possible with in close area Split Flanges are in 2 halves attached with Weld nozzle with Allen bolts , Nuts & O ring Seal.
Mono Flanges are in MOC - Steel , Stainless Steel SAE Split Flanges are assembled with Weld Nozzles or Mono Flanges or Flat Socket type flanges with Weld Nozzle on both side having O ring Seal groove.
Mono Flanges are designed as per ISO 6162 with Static Pressure for 3000 psi & 6000 psi Series. Sizes Available - 1/4 " NB up to 5 " NB
Orifice Flanges
Orifice Flanges are designed as per ISO 6162 - 3000 psi series & 6000 Psi Series only.
Orifice Flanges are used as cover up of Casing & housing to weld pipe where easy removal piping can be possible with in close area Orifice Flanges are weld with Tube & assembled with Allen bolts & Nuts.
Orifice Flanges Flanges are in MOC - Steel , Stainless Steel SAE Orifice Flanges Flanges are assembled with Split flanges or Mono Flanges or Flat Socket type flanges with Tube to weld on
Orifice Flanges Flanges are designed as per ISO 6162 with Static Pressure for 3000 psi & 6000 psi Series. Sizes Available - 1/4 " NB up to 5 " NB
Weld Nozzle Flanges
Weld Nozzle Flanges are designed with Butt weld type to weld the pipe on both the side to the attached Nozzle.
Weld Nozzle Flanges are consists of Set of Split Flanges assembled with Weld nozzle both side with O ring , Allen Bolts & Nuts. Weld Nozzle Flanges are easy for assembled, weld & ease of removal during assembly or disassembly of Piping Joints.
Weld Nozzle Flanges are used for Bigger sizes of Joints in the piping conncetion where Nut & ferrule asembly is not possible.
Weld Nozzle Flanges are in MOC - Steel , Stainless Steel SAE weld Nozzle Flanges are assembled with Split flanges or Mono Flanges or Flat Socket type flanges with Weld Nozzle on both side having O ring Seal groove.
Weld Nozzle Flanges are designed as per ISO 6162 with Static Pressure for 3000 psi & 6000 psi Series. Sizes Available - 1/4 " NB up to 5 " NB
Square Flanges
The use of ISO 6164 Flanges has one disadvantage, the size of the Square Flange require a higher pitch between pipes due to the Flange Sizes. In order to reduce the distance between pipes, SAE introduced their own Standards which are now incorporated in to ISO 6162 for the 3000 psi and 6000 psi
Static Pressure ranges respectively. SAE system depends on the same set of butt welding sleeves held together by a set of Split Flange and Solid Flange secured by Hex Bolts and Nut.
Many a times , with the introduction of more corrosive fluids in piping systems, the total joint is not required to be of non -corrosive material, e.g. - Stainless Steel - SS only the sleeves which are wetted by the fluid are required to be of SS. This makes for an economical Joint.
Square Flanges are designed as per ISO 6164 standards.
Square Flanges are assembled with 4 bolts &nuts.
Square Flanges are available in Steel & Stainless Steel MOC.
Square Flanges are available in sizes up to 5 " NB to weld pipe.
